The Glen Mead Band started out as The Flyers - a quartet on a cruise ship. Somewhere in the middle of Caribbean they found their true identity and evolved into The Glen Mead Band. The new group rapidly became the most wanted band throughout the fleet but after more than two hundred shows they decided to abandon ship and return to Australia in order to pursue their career on more solid ground. Their repertoire ranges from lounge to classic sing-along rock’n’roll and the band features some of the finest musicians in Sydney. The core group is a trio consisting of Glen on drums and vocals along with bass and piano. However, The Glen Mead Band can also upsize with the addition of a guitarist and or saxophonist. This flexible and versatile act has the ability to custom-fit to your budget by also downsizing to just a solo artist with Glen singing and playing guitar. The Glen Mead Band are rock solid performers with years of live experience.
